In addition to his
teams' successes, Sigler was named District Coach of the Year and Suburban West
Coach of the Year seven times, and he was inducted into the Missouri High School
Baseball Coaches' Association Hall of Fame in 1994.
Outside of Parkway Central, Sigler has served on
the U.S. Olympic Baseball Selection Committee and was an instructor at the
University of Missouri Baseball Camps from 1978-1995. He also served as a scout
for the Minnesota Twins organization and was a summer coach for the St. Louis
Amateur Baseball Association. Sigler retired
from Parkway Central as both the Head Baseball Coach and Athletics Director in
2001. He and his wife, Ida Leah, live in Manchester, Mo. If you would like more
