Mike Sigler
Head Coach

Mike Sigler enters his fourth year at the helm of the Saints Baseball squad. He became the ninth head coach in the program's 26-year history in 2005, and led the Saints to a 12-27 overall record in his first season.

Sigler has coached Maryville to a 28-32 record in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC)  play in three seasons, and has had 12 players named All-SLIAC. His 2007 squad also qualified for the SLIAC Tournament and posted the first 20-win season since 1999 and only the seventh in the program's history.

Sigler has a long baseball history, which includes 25 successful years as the head coach at Parkway Central High School in Chesterfield, Mo. He won eight District Championships and six Conference Championships with the Colts, and also placed fourth or better in four State Championship Tournament appearances. Sigler's 1992 and 1993 squads enjoyed the most success, both placing second at the State Championship Tournament.

In addition to his teams' successes, Sigler was named District Coach of the Year and Suburban West Coach of the Year seven times, and he was inducted into the Missouri High School Baseball Coaches' Association Hall of Fame in 1994.

Outside of Parkway Central, Sigler has served on the U.S. Olympic Baseball Selection Committee and was an instructor at the University of Missouri Baseball Camps from 1978-1995. He also served as a scout for the Minnesota Twins organization and was a summer coach for the St. Louis Amateur Baseball Association.

Sigler retired from Parkway Central as both the Head Baseball Coach and Athletics Director in 2001. He and his wife, Ida Leah, live in Manchester, Mo.
