Glenn Paulus
Head Coach
Glenn Paulus enters his seventh year as the Saints head coach. He took over the program in the spring
of 2003 and since has helped lead the Saints to a 217-152-1 overall record.
His 2007 squad captured the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC)
Championship and qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships, the
first time in the program's history. In 2006, Paulus' squad boasted one of the top freshman
classes in NCAA Division, including SLIAC Newcomer of the Year, Nick
Profancik, who then went on to be crowned SLIAC champion and Player of the
Year in 2007 and 2008.
Before coming to Maryville, Paulus was a
touring professional golfer, competing on the Heartland Players Senior Tour
and the Emerald Coast Tour. He was also a finalist in 2001 at the Senior PGA
Tour Qualifying Tournament.

Paulus’ coaching and teaching experience includes three years as an assistant golf coach
at St. Louis University and five years as an apprentice PGA Professional at Mid Rivers Golf Links in St. Peters, Mo.
Prior to his professional golf career, Paulus spent 25 years in the
commercial finance business with ITT Corporation, where he served as Senior
Vice President, Division Manager.
Paulus, who attended the University of Minnesota, resides in Lake St. Louis,
Mo., with his wife, Nancy.
