Matt Wickenhauser
Assistant Coach
Matt Wickenhauser enters his seventh season as an assistant coach with the women’s
basketball squad. He served as a volunteer assistant coach in 2001-02,
before becoming head coach Chris Ellis’
top assistant in 2002-03.
Wickenhauser has helped
the Saints to a 109-51 overall record in his six years as an assistant,
including 60 consecutive regular season wins in the St. Louis
Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC). His duties with the program
include recruiting, coaching the pressure defense, scouting and
game preparation.
Wickenhauser, a native
St. Louisan, earned his bachelor’s degree in General Business from the
University of Missouri-Columbia in 1978. He currently works as a Client
Service Manager for Benefit Finance Partners.
Wickenhauser and his
wife, Sue, reside in Manchester, Mo.
They have three daughters, Kristin, Anna and Amanda. |
