Randy Keys
Assistant Coach
Keys begins his third year as an
assistant coach with the Saints women's basketball program. In addition to
assisting the overall coaching operation of the varsity program, he has also
served as the head junior varsity coach for the past two seasons.
Keys brings a wealth
of coaching experience to the Saints program. In addition to coaching
several youth teams in various sports, he coached the ninth grade basketball
team at East Ladue Junior High School and then at Ladue Horton Watkins High
School from 1976-81. He also served as the head coach of the varsity boy's
volleyball team at Ladue Horton Watkins High School from 1987-88.
Keys holds a master's
degree in mathematics from St. Louis University, where he played basketball
(1965-66) and baseball (1967) for the Billikens for one year in each sport.
For 33 years he has been a secondary mathematics teacher at
Riverview-Gardens (1970-72), Ladue (1972-2002) and Rockwood (2007).
Keys is currently
working on his master's in rehabilitation counseling at Maryville. He and
his wife, Kathy, have six children and three grandchildren. |
